How to be a Canadian
Canadians are one of the nicest people on the face of the earth. From their politeness, their offer for help they are always there to lend a helping hand except Justin Beaver. We regret that he is Canadian. To become an excellent Canadian you must follow these simple steps.
Step one:
Your vocabulary must incorporate the word “EH”. This
word is holy. Canadians incorporate this word for multiple reasons. The word
has multiple functions. It can replace a question mark, add exclamation to a
sentence or do nothing.
·
What kind of twig is
that eh
·
Nice car eh
·
Nice day eh
·
Eh its Canada d’eh
Step two:
When attending any events you must go to “timmies”. Timmies coffee is liquid gold. Canadians love their coffee and bring them everywhere. Also with your coffee you must either have timbits or a donut, these items are foods of gods. When in Canada you will realise that timmies are everywhere. Here are some examples of where you should bring your Tim Hortons:
·
Son’s hockey game
·
Daughter’s hockey game
·
Wife’s hockey game
·
Your hockey game
·
Beer league hockey games
·
Church
Also for that special time of year: ROLL UP THE RIM, you must roll or
else you aren’t Canadian. Who doesn’t like to win free donuts and coffees eh!
Step three:
Canadians are very well known for their politeness. Canadians say sorry
for everything. It is a way of expressing their politeness. Americans always
laugh at Canadians for saying this however Canadians show their politeness towards
this.
Step four:
America might
have the mlb, nfl and the nba but to the great white north hockey is the only
game. To Canadians hockey is a religion. During the winter your life is the
odr. You aren’t Canadian if you don’t know what the ODR is (Outdoor rink). When
at the odr you must know how to do sticks in the middle. Little hint you never
want to be the guy/girl that has to do it. Also when it snows you must shovel.
You don’t deserve to play. You need to pick up that shovel and take the white
stuff off the ice. You always go to the odr during the winter here are a few
examples of when you should go to the odr:
·
No homework = ODR
No homework = ODR
·
Homework = ODR
·
Study for exams = ODR
·
Sunday morning church = ODR
·
Family event = ODR
·
Wedding = ODR
·
Party = Take party to ODR
·
Spend time with girlfriend = ODR
In conclusion after following these simple steps
you should be the next big Canadian. The only thing missing is your Canadian
citizenship. One final thing ride your moose into battle!
